Varun Dhawan, in addition to his versatile acting abilities, is known for his vibrant, charismatic persona. From the fun-loving character of Coolie No. 1 to a thrilling performance in Badlapur, Varun has managed to impress critics as well as the audience alike. But did you know that besides being a complete entertainer, Varun is also a great chef? Well, at least his father, David Dhawan, definitely noted it. Recently, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the actor donned the chef's hat and prepared a decadent-looking halwa for his director-father. The result? A smash hit in the same way that his films have been. The senior Dhawan loved the halwa and praised Varun’s cooking skills.
Varun shared a fun video on his Instagram where Mr. David can be seen reviewing what seems like a sooji ka halwa. In the clip, we could hear Varun asking, "How is the halwa that I made, papa, for Maha Shivaratri?" To this, the filmmaker replies, "I think it's damn good, ya. The first time, I had such a good halwa, which has very little sugar for me. And, I can have the second bowl also." For the caption, Varun wrote, "Dad reviewing my halwa." Take a look at the glimpses from the video:
