Indian cuisine has a separate fan base all over the world. Many foreign celebrities and delegates are seen exploring the flavours of our country. Recently, the US ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, has been spotted relishing South Indian thali with his colleagues in Delhi. He went to the Tamil Nadu Bhawan in the city on Thursday, where he was served some iconic regional dishes in traditional style on a banana leaf. He took to Twitter to share the video of this moment. In the video, he can be seen savouring idli, sambhar, cabbage poriyal, and other delightful Tamilian dishes. He completes his meal with the dessert payasam, filter coffee, and paan. The diplomat used his hands to enjoy the meal served to him on a big banana leaf. One of his colleagues told him that the food must have all the flavours: sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. At the end of the video, he is also seen talking and exchanging high-fives with the kids.

The US Ambassador is a huge fan of Indian food and has his own web show by the name of "Savouring India with Ambassador Garcetti". Last month, he also visited Maharashtra Bhawan in the city to relish some Maharashtrian delicacies. There he was seen enjoying kokum sherbat, vada pav, sago, bharli vangi, and other regional dishes.

While sharing the video, he also posted a comment saying he was impressed by the complexity of the flavours of these South Indian delights and was very excited about his visit to Chennai. The video has gotten more than 300,000 views and 5,000 likes. Social media is delighted to see him enjoying South Indian cuisine, and the comment section is filled with love and appreciation for Garcetti's efforts in exploring India.
