The history of sangria takes us back to the Middle Ages when fermented beverages were considered healing potions. Around this time only sangria got its initial foundation as people began to mix wine with different fruits and spices to spike it up. It was around 1960’s when ‘sangria’ began to grow popular worldwide as one of the most popular cocktails and the rest, as we say, is history.

The word ‘sangria’ is derived from the Latin word ‘sanguis’ which means ‘blood’. At first sangria was only made of red wine, but later sundry of European countries and hundreds of restaurants began to create their own variation of sangrias, this gave life to white wine sangria as well. This divine cocktail has a citric aroma with the right kind of sweetness coming from pulpy and squashed fruits, which can easily make your summers more delightful. And to make it easy for you, we bring you the bartender-style white sangria recipe that is all things tempting.
