When you get those persistent sweet tooth pangs, whip up a batch of these simple, nutritious, and satisfying energy balls (also known as protein bites or joy balls). Oats, mixed nuts, dried fruits, seeds, fruits, nut butters, and natural sweeteners like honey are common components in these.
In addition to being easy to make, the recipe calls for only blending the ingredients into a sticky paste. Once you've rolled the mixture into little balls, place them in the fridge for a few hours to solidify. Delish when served chilled. Also, if you put them in an airtight container, you can keep them for up to a week. Keeping these guidelines in mind, we have included some recipes for energy balls. Unless you're told otherwise, all we've done in the directions for the energy bites is mix the ingredients in a processor and roll them into balls.
