Whether in India or abroad, almost everyone prefers to drink coffee in the morning. Even many of my friends never even touch tea, but they are always ready for a cup of coffee. But, if you are asked whether the coffee you are drinking is pure or is there any impurity in it? Perhaps you do not have any accurate information about this. Well, today, let us clear this dilemma of yours too. Because with this article, we will give you some great tips, after which you can quickly identify genuine and fake coffee in a few minutes at home. So let us know a little more about it.

Use lemon juice

You can also find out whether there is any impurity in the coffee with the help of a few drops of lemon juice.

  1. First of all, take out one to two spoons of coffee powder in a vessel.
  2. After extracting the coffee, put drops of lemon juice on this powder and leave it for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, if the coffee leaves any other colour, it has been adulterated.
  4. On the other hand, if the coffee remains normal, it's pure.

Test with a glass of water

One of the best ways to detect adulteration in coffee powder is with water.

  1. Keep a spoonful of coffee powder in a full glass of water and leave it for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes, if the coffee is adulterated, the coffee will automatically sit down.
  3. If there is no impurity in it, it will appear floating.

Test it with your hands

The easiest way to test for adulteration in coffee is by hand testing.

  1. You can put one to two pinches of coffee on your hands and rub it. If the coffee looks like a powder, then be assured that there is no impurity.
  2. However, if the coffee feels rough when you rub it, it may be mixed with other ingredients. For example, sometimes rice flour or semolina is also integrated with coffee.

So the next time you bring the packet of coffee home, these home remedies will help you quickly identify the adulteration in coffee in a few minutes.
