Krishna Chandra Das, the son of Nobin Chandra Das, started his own confectionary shop in 1930, and the shop has a special place in the heart of every rosogolla lover. They are called the inventors of vacuum-canned rosogollas which are now famous across the country. There are several branches of K.C. Das across Kolkata.
