Actor Sanya Malhotra - who is best known for her roles in films like Dangal, Badhaai Ho, and more recently, HIT: The First Case - might be shooting non-stop for a slew of projects, but her love for snacking seems to remain constant.

One of the fittest actors in the industry right now, Sanya is also known for her dancing skills. But did you know that she too has her own share of cravings that can only be satiated by some desi snacks. The actor is a self-confessed fan of samosas.

On Monday, she posted a photo dump, which consisted of a variety of pictures from her photo gallery - like her reading her favourite book on her bed, a mirror selfie, a flower vase, a chocolate dessert, and more. She ended the series with a picture where she can be seen holding out a samosa. In the caption she wrote “#samosaismyperpetualstateofmind”, and we cannot help but relate.

A few days ago, she again posted two images, where she could be seen enjoying a samosa inside her car with a  film script. The glee on her face is unmissable. She wrote in the caption “Main, meri script aur samosa (me, my script and samosa)”. When in the comments one of her friends asked if the samosa is ‘dairy-free’ and ‘gluten-free’, she replied, “mat kha (do not eat)”. And if that is not your exact same emotion towards people who are fussy with their samosas, we don’t even know who you are. Sanya-1, Samosas-1, Critics-0.

Samosa, for the uninitiated, is a triangular, deep-fried snack. It comprises a thin sheet of dough that covers the stuffing inside. Now, the stuffing could be of anything, right from aloo, keema, noodles, ice cream you name it. The most popular samosa is the aloo samosa. So popular that it has an entire Bollywood song dedicated to it. Nineties kids remember how Akshay Kumar likened love and commitment to the number of potatoes in his samosa in Jab Tak Rahega Samose Me Aloo? Iconic right.

Samosa is perhaps one of the easiest Indian snacks to make at home too. Don't believe us? Try this easy-peasy recipe today and let us know how you liked it.
