Come Holi, the first thing that everyone starts arranging for are colours. Water guns and pichkaris are loaded, all set to attack and get drenched in the festival of colours. Mornings usually begin with a religious pooja ceremony, which is followed by a yummy prasad. The dessert-laden plates are set on the dining table right from the morning till late evening. Recently, MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria took to her Instagram handle to share a reel of her gujiya recipe for Holi. However, it is no ordinary gujiya. Made with a pancake batter, it is called chocolate pancake gujiya and we can’t resist the sight of it. Don’t know what we are talking about? Here, take a look.

She begins by adding flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking soda in a bowl. Mix it well and add some milk to bind the whole mixture. Make a chocolaty paste from it and add some melted butter to it. Mix the butter into the batter and then take a spoonful of it to be spread on a pan. Give it a small circular shape of a pancake. Once it is cooked from both sides, carefully place the pancake in a gujiya mould and fill it with some chopped nuts and choco chips. Press it together and the pancake acquires the shape of the gujiya. Repeat this for all the gujiyas and your chocolate pancake gujiyas are ready to be devoured.
