How To Make Egg Biryani At Home

This recipe is no different from your regular biryani recipe and requires more or less the same ingredients- rice, eggs, onions, bay leaf, peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, ginger-garlic paste and a couple of more spices and herbs. Besides the aromatic biryani masala is a must-have, which you can also make at home. In any biryani recipe, the quality of rice is prime, so try to use long grain basmati rice as it lends a distinct texture and blends well with all the spices.  To make it all the richer, you may use ghee instead of oil.

The most unique part of this biryani is how the eggs are used; stuffed and fried eggs. The stuffing of the eggs is a mixture of green chillies, coriander leaves, little milk, salt and a teaspoon of mayonnaise, much like devilled eggs. The stuffed eggs are then fried and tossed with the biryani. A garnish of coriander leaves and raita or salan on the side makes this a perfect treat at home!
