Even the most diehard chefs have days when they just don’t feel like cooking. But lack of time doesn’t have to be an issue when you have this simple recipe on hand. Inspired by sushi and poke bowls, this simple Healthy Prawn Bowl inspired by the Modern Nonna combines fresh ingredients with punchy flavours for a meal that’s filling and delicious, and best of all, it can be done in 15 minutes.

Though this recipe calls for prawns, they can be substituted with any other protein such as chicken, paneer or even chickpeas. The key is to ensure that every bite is nutritionally balanced. It’s also very easy to replicate since you can use whatever veggies you have in the fridge at the moment, a perfect way to get rid of extras you’ve been trying to use up.

And as if that wasn’t convincing enough, you could even switch up the seasonings to give it a different theme. How about Zaatar spice for a middle eastern bowl with couscous, or a garam masala prawn for a desi feel? The possibilities are endless and you could make this every day for weeks before running out of options. So if you’re looking for one meal solution that does it all, this could be the template you needed.
