Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate cacao powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup + ½ tbsp butter melted
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips or as required

Preparations:

1. In a food processor add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and butter. Blitz them all together until it forms a big sticky ball structure.

2. Scoop 1 tbsp of the mixture and smooth it out by rolling into your hand. Try to make small round balls out of them.

3. Repeat the process until the mixture is finished.

4. Take a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and line the balls on them. Just make sure they don’t stick to each other while you are placing them.

5. Place the baking sheet in the fridge to set.

6. Meanwhile, take a saucepan and add chocolate chips with ½ tbsp of butter. Heat it over medium flame. Gently stir the mixture so it doesn’t stick to the pan and once it melts, switch off the flame.

7. Now dip the hardened balls into the melted chocolate and again place them in the same parchment paper. If you like you can also sprinkle some crushed dry fruits.

8. Place it back again in the fridge and let it set for at least 30-40 minutes or until they harden.

Enjoy the dark chocolate truffle with a piping hot cup of chocolate milk.
