Ice lollies have always been a summer favourite. And not just kids, even adults seem to love the taste of these ice pops. Strawberry Lolly

Just make a water-based syrup using strawberry crush, squash or concentrated syrup. Put it into lolly stands and immediately put it inside the freezer. After keeping it for about 3-4 hours in the freezer, your ice lollies will be ready to eat. 

Mango Lolly

Use some yellow mango syrup and make a watery drink out of it. Add finely sliced chunks of real mango. Freeze the same for about 6 hours, and your new-age mango lolly is all set to be savoured.

Blueberry Lolly

Make some blueberry smash and add black currant flavoured syrup or juice to it. Add some water to balance the tartness. Freeze in the lolly tray. This one comes out with amazing colour, quite literally.

Rainbow Lolly

Get varied coloured syrups in distinct flavours. Usually, rose, raw mango, blue curacao and pineapple work the best in unison. Mix each of these syrups individually in water and freeze in layers, one on top of the other in the lolly mould. After 9-10 hours, you can enjoy the lollies.

Thandai Lolly

Use some milk in well-diluted form and mix it with thandai. Stir well and let it rest to freeze in the mould. You can relish the ice pops after 9-10 hours?

You can also use fresh fruits and whip them up thick in the mixer before freezing them. Add heavy whipping cream to any fruit crush for a more delicious taste. However, these take longer to freeze completely and are closer to being ice-creams than an ice lolly.

One tip to keep in mind is to avoid the use of extra sugar, while you also need to ensure that the water you use is clean. Clean the ice trays or ice lolly trays well before you begin freezing a batch.
