1. The Energy Booster 

Diwali is full of hectic schedules. Pre-Diwali decorations can leave you sleepless and take up an extra amount of time. Here is the first shake that you can have in the morning to support your energy levels throughout the day. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup banana (sliced)  
  • 1 ½ almond milk/non-fat milk   
  • 1 scoop whey protein  
  • ½ cup oats  
  • 1 tbsp organic honey   
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt/plain curd  

Total calories: 218 Kcal /450 ml 

Method 

  • Mix all the ingredients and blend them till it becomes a fine smoothie.  
  • To garnish, sprinkle almond flakes on top and drizzle honey over it. 

2. The Welcome Shot 

This Diwali offering your guests something health  

Ingredients: 

  • ¾ cup non-fat plain curd   
  • ½ cup 100% pure fruit Juice (any available fruit) 
  • ½ cup frozen fruits (Blueberries/pineapple/peaches) 
  • ½ cup oats – ½ cup 
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds/sunflower seeds/pumpkin seeds (optional)  

Total calorie: 236 Kcal/380 ml 

Method: 

  • Blend non-fat plain yogurt with pure fruit juice and oats.  
  • Pour the blend into a container/glass and stir in the seeds (chia, sunflower, pumpkin).  
  • Top it with frozen fruits (blueberries/pineapples/peaches) and serve.
