Fusion dishes is one food trend that refuses to die down. And if you’ve got some drool-worthy delicacies to nosh upon, why should the trend go anyway? Be it butter chicken momos, butter chicken pasta and countless Indo-Chinese delicacies that we keep drooling over. Seems like Mcdonalds India is catching over with the trend Indians love so much to offer something beyond the momos and pizzas. Inspired by India’s popular casual north Indian dishes, McDonald’s India – North and East has added a ‘makhani’ twist to the menu with the introduction of two new grilled burgers - Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer. Crafted with a lot of thought and understanding of north Indian palate, these new burgers blend the Indian and global flavours perfectly. And by the looks of it, they look all things delicious.

Cheesy, juicy and wholesome, burgers of Mcdonalds have impressed the taste buds of many until now. These all-new flavours seem to simply add a zesty new spin to the burgers with the makhani twist. Packed with delectable grilled patties and makhani sauce oozing out in every bite, the burgers look pretty irresistible. The Butter chicken grilled burger is a sumptuous treat for chicken lovers with a juicy grilled chicken patty and rich makhani sauce placed between freshly toasted buns with sesame seeds. The vegetarians can feast upon the butter paneer grilled burger which has a mildly spiced grilled paneer patty topped with makhani sauce and crunchy onions.

The special makhani sauce is said to be made butter, tomato, onion, garlic with a hint of fenugreek and a blend of local ingredients, lending a rich, nostalgic north Indian flavour. Speaking about the new products Rajeev Ranjan, Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s India – North and East, said “We have a proud legacy of bringing in authentic local flavours to meet the needs of our customers. Our new burger line-up is tastefully crafted, delicious culinary that will tickle the palates and provide gastronomic pleasure to our guests looking for authentic Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer tastes.” If you ask me, I can’t wait to try the butter chicken burger and scream Burrraah!

The new burgers have already hit many of the outlets of McDonald’s in North and East India and one can enjoy them via delivery as well. What do you have to say about the newest burgers from the fast-food chain? Let us know.
