In an exclusive chat with the Hindustan Times, the actor mentioned that she had always been a fan of food in the capital. “Foodie people are the best kind of people,” she said. On her ride through Delhi's busy streets, she visited many restaurants and indulged in many delicacies. “It was great to come here and embrace the foodie child in me,” she added.
Her food haul came to a halt at a chaat counter where she gulped down gol gappas, which she said were her favourites. To all the people who say that Bombay’s food is better than Delhi's, Tejasswi Prakash set the battle by announcing the capital as the winner. “Delhi has food that Bombay doesn’t have,” she said.
The actor said, “You have to be smarter about what to eat where in Mumbai, but in Delhi you will get good food anywhere you go. There’s so much competition among various eateries here in the capital. Big roads are also what Delhi has, we don’t have that in Mumbai. On the other hand, Mumbai has me, and that’s a great thing to have,” she said jokingly.
