Ingredients For Apple Chutney (Serves 4-5 people)

  • 2 apples 
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder 
  • ¼ teaspoon of sugar 
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil 
  • 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder 
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon 
  • 1 pinch of salt 
  • 2 tablespoons of water.

Procedure To Make Apple Chutney 

  1. Combine all the ingredients on your kitchen platform, peel the apple and roughly cut it into small pieces. Blend them with little water. 
  2. On one side, heat oil in a pan on low flame. 
  3. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, turmeric, and red chilli powder to the pan. Stir it a little for about 2-3 minutes, and then add blended apple mixture. 
  4. Add sugar and salt in it, and cook it for another 5 minutes, mash and shimmer the chutney. Cook-off until the excess liquid dries.

And your sour and tangy chutney is ready!
