Dahi Bhindi

Ingredients:

  1. Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Vegetable masala - 1 tsp
  3. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp 
  4. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Curry leaves - 1 tsp
  6. Bhindi - 150 grams
  7. Onion - 1 chopped
  8. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  9. Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt - as per taste
  11. Curd - 1/2 cup
  12. Oil - 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry the bhindi lightly in a pan. 
  2. Now, add onion to the same pan and fry till golden brown.
  3. After some time, add all the other spices to the onion and cook it well.
  4. After the masala is cooked for about 5 minutes, add okra, curd and cook for some time.
  5. Next, add ghee, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chillies in a pan. After it gets hot, add the tempering to the dahi bhindi.

Dahi Kebab

Ingredients:

  1. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  3. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  4. Salt - according to taste
  5. Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  6. Bread powder-2 tsp
  7. Paneer - 100 g
  8. Curd - 1/2 cup
  9. Cheese-2 tsp
  10. Besan - 2 tsp
  11. Oil-3 tsp

Method:

  1. First, keep the curd tied in a cotton cloth to drain the water.
  2. Next, prepare the blend in a vessel by mixing paneer and other spices with gram flour.
  3. After this, grate the cheese in the gram flour mixture, add curd and mash it well.
  4. Next, make a kebab out of the mashed mixture and bind it by adding bread powder.
  5. Now, heat oil and deep fry the kebabs in a pan.

Dahi Parathas

Ingredients:

  1. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  2. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  3. Mint leaves - 1/2 tsp
  4. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt - as per taste
  6. Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  7. Curd - 1/2 cup
  8. Flour - 4 cups
  9. Ghee - 3 tsp

Method:

  1. First, add ajwain, green chilli, turmeric and salt to the flour and mix it well.
  2. After this, add curd, mint leaves, one spoon of ghee and mix it well.
  3. Add water as required, knead the dough and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Now, roll the dough into a paratha. Heat ghee and cook the paratha on both sides in a pan till golden brown.
  5. Dahi ka paratha is ready to serve with sabzi or chutney.
