Actor Suniel Shetty, who was recently in Delhi, was welcomed graciously by the staff at the hotel he stayed at. The special welcome included healthy and gluten-free multi-millet granola bars made by the chefs at the hotel, was an ode to the actor’s passion for fitness and his well-maintained physique. Shetty, dressed in a T-shirt, cargo pants and aviator sunglasses, posed for pictures with the staff at the hotel, who seemed more than happy to host him.

Being a supportive father, he made it a point to make it just in time to watch his daughter, Athiya Shetty, walk the ramp, as she turned showstopper for designer Anamika Khanna at the ongoing India Couture Week. Cheering his daughter on further, Shetty posted a video of Athiya take the ramp and captioned it, “Here’s our desi Gigi/Bella/Kendall.” He was also recently in the news for receiving flak over his statements over rising tomato prices and apologised profusely for being taken out of context.

Starting his day with 4-5 egg whites for breakfast, he is a fiend for homemade food that includes the staple roti-sabzi, dal-chawal. He also snacks on fruits or a scoop of peanut butter when hungry during the day and tries to be gluten-free, for the most part. He has admitted in the past that this passion for fitness and discipline, was something he only cultivated in the past eight years, and is something that keeps him going.
