Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is celebrating her birthday today, on May 22, and her friends and family couldn’t be more excited. While mother Gauri Khan took to Instagram and shared a stunning photo of her, friends including Ananya Panday penned a note along with a beautiful picture with the birthday girl. But Suhana herself shared some snippets from her birthday celebration, and we are all hearts. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter shared two pictures on her Instagram stories, one featured a decadent-looking birthday cake, the second featured balloon decorations.

The cake definitely had all our attention, as the well-decorated two-tier birthday cake had strawebrries and cherries decorated on the sides of it, and Happy Birthday written on the top. The cake was laced with chocolate ganache and had chocolate syrup dripping all over. Take a look and tell us if you can resist the sight of it, because we simply can’t!

Doesn’t it look oh-so-delicious!? In the second photo, we can see blue, pink and silver coloured helium balloons at the wooden ceiling of the room. Take a look:

Suhana, who is all set to make a Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, has turned 22. Zoya, along with the cast and crew, dropped the teaser of the movie just last week, and broke the internet. Social media was abuzz with reactions from industry insiders, celebrities and fans raving about how refreshing it looks. The Archies also stars Khushi Kapoor, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and Late Sridevi, and Amitab Bachcha’s grandson Agastya Nanda.

Suhana Khan’s birthday cake, dripping with chocolate, has definitely made us crave some, and well do we really need a reason to indulge in some cake? I would say no. And do we need to order-in always? Again, no. Baking a chocolate cake at home is quite easy, in contrast to what many think is a messy affair. It is undoubtedly, one of the most loved cakes, and if you know the right tricks it can be far easier to bake it at home than you think. Here are certain tips you must know before baking a cake:

1. Use Shiny Pans Instead Of Dark Pans

Dark pans tend to absorb more of the oven's heat—in a way dark clothing absorbs more heat from sunlight. This is why some bakers also use shiny aluminum foil to deflect some of the heat to prevent premature over-browning. The shininess reflects the heat. A dark pan can cause your chocolate cake to brown too early around the edges and create a hard crust on the surface.

2. Dust With Cocoa

While most of the cake recipes will ask you to dust your pan with flour, cocoa works the same way. Not only will cocoa give you a clean release after baking, it will also lend an extra chocolatey flavor to the cake.

3. Quality of Cocoa

All chocolate cakes rely a lot on the deep, rich flavor and so, it is of prime importance to use the highest quality of cocoa you can get your hands on. The darker the hue of the cocoa, the more satisfying the chocolate flavor of your cake would turn out.

Now that you are equipped with certain basics of baking, here is a chocolate cake recipe you can try at home.
