Ingredients:
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 3 tsp honey
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic & ginger paste
- 8 skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 Broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- White Onion, to sprinkle (optional)
Method:
- In the first step, heat the oven to 200C/180C fan
- Now, take a bowl and add the soy sauce, honey, 1 tsp of oil and ½ tsp garlic & ginger paste in it. Mix all the ingredients properly
- Once done, pour this mixture over the chicken thighs and leave it aside to marinate. You can keep it aside for 15-20 minutes and then start the cooking process
- Now let’s cook the chicken in the oven for approximately 45 mins until it gets sticky and the skin is crispy
- Keep a close eye on the chicken so it doesn’t get burnt
- On the other hand, start cooking the broccoli. Cut the broccoli into small pieces
- Take a pan and heat sesame oil in it on a low flame. Add garlic to it and saute for 1 minute. Once done, include broccoli in the pan and saute them for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame until it is cooked properly
- Once the broccoli is cooked, switch off the flame and transfer the broccoli to a plate
- Now, cook sesame seeds in the same pan and stir them for 1-2 minutes so they are cooked properly. Once cooked, transfer them to a small bowl
- Next, take out the chicken from the oven and put them on a plate
- Now, take a fancy plate and put chicken as well as broccoli pieces on it. Garnish the chicken with sesame seeds
- Finally, the delicious and juicy chicken recipe is ready to serve in hot
Important Points To Remember:
- You can directly cook the chicken after the marination. It is not necessary to keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
- You can also add chilli flakes if you want chicken spicy
- Besides broccoli, you can also saute some more vegetables of your choice
- You can skip garnishing it with sesame seeds.
