Sonu Sood Visits Famous Kumari Aunty Food Stall In Hyderabad

If you have visited Hyderabad and asked a local about the best place to relish vegetarian or non-vegetarian food at eco-friendly prices, you must have heard them mentioning Sai Kumari Aunty’s food stall.

She has a makeshift stall with a permanent location opposite the Inorbit Mall Cyberabad, Hyderabad. Recently, Indian actor Sonu Sood visited the stall owing to its popularity and interacted with Sai Kumari Aunty.

Sonu Sood Visits Kumari Aunty Food Stall In Hyderabad

The actor shared a reel on Instagram showcasing his interaction with Sai Kumari Aunty. The moment he stepped out of his car, people surrounded him to click selfies and pictures. However, Sonu Sood went straight ahead to meet Kumari Aunty who has been selling dal rice, fried rice, mutton curry, chicken curry, and other veg and non-veg dishes here for 13 years.

Speaking with Kumari Aunty, Sood said that she was an embodiment of women's empowerment and that everyone should learn something from her. Dressed in a saree, the woman never fails to open her food stall at the same location every day from 12pm to 2pm.

Price Of Meals At Kumari Aunty Food Stall

During the conversation, Sonu Sood asked about the price of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The businesswoman kindly replied that a vegetarian meal would cost him Rs 80 while a non-vegetarian plate would cost Rs 120.

Sonu Sood mentioned that he prefers to eat vegetarian food. He jokingly asked her what kind of discount she would offer him. Kumari Aunty said that he could have a vegetarian meal for free at her stall. The actor said that he would come for a meal every day.

Payment Method At Kumari Aunty’s Food Stall

No matter what you eat, you can pay at Kumari Aunty’s food stall through cash or UPI. She ensures a hassle-free experience at her small eatery. The joint experiences a footfall of locals and influencers arriving at her stall to indulge in the flavourful food she makes.

In January 2024, Patel, Inspector of Raidurgam Traffic Police, reported that 200 people used to gather around her stall every day. They were parking all around the stall which was causing traffic congestion in the area. Therefore, the city police even instructed Sai Kumari Auntry to close her stall and shift the base to another place. However, soon after, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy put a stay on that order and saved the food stall.
