The fact that actor Sonu Sood not only has a heart of gold but also that of a true-blue foodie is well known. Every time he travels across India, he not only indulges in local and fresh delicacies (and shares them with us all through his social media posts) but also engages with people who cook and sell all kinds of dishes. In a recent video post on social media, this is exactly what Sonu Sood does once again with a vendor in a place near Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

In the video post on Instagram, Sonu Sood is seen having a candid conversation with a vendor who’s name is Sonu too. While chatting with his namesake, Sonu Sood mentions that vendor Sonu sells many food gems the hills are known for, including chhole kulche, channa, tikki, bhutta, Maggi noodles, chaat and of course, hot cups of chai. In fact, the actor even compares Sonu vendor’s modest food stand with a showroom for delicious food.

“When Sonu meets Sonu. Multinational business talks begin,” wrote the actor on his post. In the video, Sonu Sood is then seen serving Sonu vendor a cup of chai and talking to him about his background and family. To this, the vendor reveals that he has been in Himachal Pradesh for 10 years and originally hails from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

In a similar post recently, Sonu Sood shared a video of his conversations with Sushil Kumar, a strawberry vendor in Himachal who originally comes from Gaya, Bihar. The actor not only cracked jokes during his informal conversation with the 18-year-old boy, but also bought all the boxes of strawberries he was selling—proving once again that this actor is not just a foodie but also a philanthropist who’s engaging posts are quite inspiring too.
