The Kapoor sisters – Sonam and Rhea – have not only built themselves a reputation for being fashion doyens, but have also taken on the task of schooling the world on how to throw an enviable dinner party. In what looks like a pre-holiday season party that was hosted by Sonam Kapoor for close friends, Mangalorean food basked in the spotlight, all thanks to chef Shriya Shetty. The beautiful table set up with a red floral arrangement under a crystal chandelier, was laden with earthen serve ware waiting to dish lip-smacking delicacies like ghee roast chicken, mutton uruval and chicken sukkha.

Offering a sneak peek into this fancy but intimate dinner, the chef shared a few glimpses on social media while posing with the actress in one picture and showing a gorgeous dessert display, in another. What looked like a red velvet cake and a Nutella cake, the chef captioned the series of photographs saying, “This one was a full blown Mangalorean feast (as usual) and definitely one for the books. @rheakapoor you know I can never thank you enough for making sure I get to showcase my regions food in all it's glory every single time. You're my angel. And I am honestly yet to find a bigger & more genuine food lover than you.”
