Actress Shraddha Kapoor may have a super packed year lined up ahead of her workwise, but she always manages to find some time for her family. If you happen to follow Shraddha Kapoor on Instagram, you would also be aware how she and her entire family are big food buffs. Every year on Ganesh Chaturthi, they indulge in an authentic Maharashtrian Thali packed with aloo bhaji, puri and Modak. And it’s not like they need an occasion to feast. On Monday, actress Shraddha Kapoor posted images from her chaat party, which took place at her residence. All the contents on the menu-absolutely homemade and fresh.

In the post, that Shradha has also pinned on her Instagram, she can be seen relishing a plate of Ragda Pattice, a Maharashtrian-style potato pattice, topped up with cooked chickpeas, and spicy and sweet chutneys. From her caption, we learned that the Ragda Patttice were made by her mother Tejaswini Kolhapure. The grub didn’t end here, her aunt and actress Padmini Kolhapure also made some delicious Pani Puri for the family, and everything seemed to be made from scratch, right from the spicy mint-flavoured water, the sweet and spicy chutneys, the mung sprouts, boiled and mashed potatoes to the crispy, ball-sized puris.

Shraddha’s brother and actor Siddhant Kapoor also joined in the gala affair. And did all of this food make you slurrp too? Then fret not. Here’s a lovely recipe for Pani Puri that we swear by. Try making the delish chaat item at home, and we bet, you won't feel like leaving your home for a while. Pro-tip: Let the chutney rest for a while for all the flavours to come together, and do let us know how you liked it.
