Come summer and our minds go straight to the array of cooling and delicious summer beverages that are up for grabs during the season. One of these cooling beverages is the Punjabi lassi. Made with curd and sugar and sometimes topped with nuts and dry fruits for a zing, lassi is one of the most popular and delicious Indian beverages. A staple of the state of Punjab, lassi has transcended borders to become one of the world’s most favourite drinks. No wonder, we always look for a glass of lassi whenever we are thirsty. And guess what?! This refreshing and delicious drink is on Shilpa Shetty’s mind too. Yes, the popular Bollywood star was recently seen relishing a glass of lassi while shooting in Patiala for a movie. She has posted two videos as her Instagram stories with the caption ‘Patiala diaries continue’ and ‘Lassi’stache’ respectively.

In the first video, she is seen devouring a kulhad full of lassi with her co-star Chaitanya Choudhury while exclaiming, “When in Punjab, do what the Punjabis do. Lassi”. The second video shows her drinking lassi from a kulhad, the froth of which formed a lassi moustache on her face. Referring to the same, she captioned it, ‘Lassi’Stache’.
