Among all her Instagram stories, the most interesting was the one in which the actress was seen churning buttermilk traditionally. Shilpa was very excited while learning it and keenly listened to the instructions. She even commented that this method of churning buttermilk is great exercise, and this is why the ladies in the villages are so fit.

Buttermilk is a very popular fermented drink in our country that is made from cultured cream. It is known to be rich in calcium and acts as a natural coolant. Also known as chaas, it is commonly relished during the hot summer months with mint leaves and spices like cumin powder and chaat masala.

Churning is the process of shaking up cream or whole milk to make butter and buttermilk. The traditional method uses a wooden churner for this process, and it can still be found in certain rural regions of India. Apart from learning the buttermilk-making process, she also enjoyed bird watching from a high tower, a jungle ride, and watching animals.

Speaking about the upcoming works of Shilpa Shetty, the 48-year-old actress will be seen in a series called ‘Indian Police Force’ created by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash. Her co-stars in the OTT series are Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Nikitin Dheer, Shweta Tiwari, and Sharad Kelkar.
