- 1 tbsp tragacanth gum
- 1 tsp basil seeds
- 2 tbsp rock sugar, powdered
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 lime sliced
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
Method
- Soak gum in water for 2-3 hours or overnight. When it fluffs up, put it aside.
- Soak basil seeds for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the puff up to form a gelatinous structure.
- Next in a jar add 4-5 tablespoon of soaked Gond katira, 3-4 tablespoon of soaked sabja seeds.
- Add in lime juice, powdered mishri and mint leaves. Crush some mint leaves or pudina for a better flavour.
- Next add 2 glasses of chilled water to the jar and stir everything well. You can add a few ice cubes if you desire. Serve.
Hung Curd With Basil Seeds

Ingredients
- Fruits and nuts of your choice
- 100 g curd
- 1/2 tsp basil seeds
Method
- Firstly, soak the basil seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes or until they expand and become gelatinous.
- In a separate bowl, mix the hung curd until well-combined. Further, add the soaked basil seeds to the hunk curd mixture and stir gently.
- Top with chopped fruits and nuts. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
