Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are all set to get hitched. Meanwhile, the pre-wedding rituals had already begun in Mumbai and New Delhi. The duo is in the capital, and the first day of their seven-day wedding festivities has already started. Their Mehendi ceremony appears to be over. On September 29, Richa uploaded two videos to her Instagram stories showcasing her Mehendi creation. The big fat wedding seems to be an extravagant affair. Everything is happening on a lavish scale, from decor to bridal trousseau, venue to the wedding menu

Richa and Ali first met in 2012 while working on the set of Fukrey. For the third instalment of the series, Fukrey 3, they will also appear together once more on screen. Ali proposed to Richa in 2019 after seven years of dating.

Sharing their joy, the coupe posted an audio message on Instagram. They said, "Two years ago, we formalised our union, and the pandemic hit us all just then. Like the rest of the nation, we, too, were struck by personal tragedies one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so touched and grateful for all the blessings coming our way."

Wedding Menu

The wedding food menu largely revolves around Richa. She was born in Amritsar but was raised in Delhi. Thus she has a special bond with the nation's capital because of her upbringing. The menu was chosen in a creative, iconic fashion. It pays homage to Richa's favourite foods from all across Delhi, such as Natraj Ki Chaat and Rajouri Garden Ke Choley Bhature. The creation of distinct eating experiences has taken into account such minute aspects.

A cocktail party, Mehendi ceremony, and sangeet night are their pre-wedding events. Richa's friend's house and the legendary Gymkhana Club will serve as the celebration venues. The couple endeavours to make their wedding environmentally sustainable.
