Richa Chadha is one bold, beautiful diva of Hindi cinema who is known for her candid demeanour. Her fierce attitude is always the talk of the town, but her food habits and choices are not far behind either. When she tied the knot with Ali, it was the food served at their wedding that was making headlines and being talked about as much, if not more, than the married couple.

During the wedding, she culminated all her favourites on the menu, including Natraj ki Chaat from Old Delhi and chole bhature from Rajouri Garden. This time, she was in Kolkata for work and ended up discovering a delicious snack. What is it, you ask? She posted a picture of the chanachur packet on her Instagram stories and said, "Any kind souls travelling from Kolkata? I have just discovered this via a gift". The orange-coloured packet read something in Bengali, and then below that, one could see a description: "Mukharochak, sweet and spicy chanachur."

For the unfamiliar, chanachur is another word for namkeen in Bengali. Made with crunchy, sweet, and spicy tidbits of besan flour, it contains rice crispies, ghatia, sev, peanuts, cashews, and raisins. This snack from Kolkata stole the foodie actor’s heart. Just like her wedding celebrations, which included a filmy bar theme at the sangeet and Delhi's special food on D-Day, the three-tier wedding cake was also a huge attraction at their reception. In fact, they had vegan rasmalai, freshly-made shahi tukdas, and much more for the guests.

If you think this is too much, then you’d be amazed to know about the wedding hamper sent out by the duo, which featured sweet and savoury treats like pistachios, double chocolate cookies, Italian herb cashews, Brazilian coffee, and more.
