As captioned by Rhea Kapoor, “Sunday homemade grown-up Filet-O-Fish burgers. The best local fish for a fish burger- Bhetki.” Popularly found in the coastal areas of India, Bhetki is a variety of meaty Kolkata fish that the fashion designer used to make her burger.

Further, to make the perfect and extra crispy fish and chips, she shared a recipe by Chef Heston Blumenthal. In his detailed YouTube video, the chef takes the viewers through every nitty-gritty of making fish chips. Starting with the best way to prepare the fish to make the batter and finally, deep-frying tricks to make the crispiest chips, the chef guides through each and every process.

After the fish and chips are ready, Rhea Kapoor also revealed the toppings she used to make the burgers. In her Instagram caption, she mentioned using homemade super herby tartare sauce, a slice of white cheddar at the bottom, and buttered (always salted butter) Hokkaido buns that she sourced from Boojee Cafe. With the recipe, she wishes her followers a “Happy Sunday!” and with the recipe, you can truly recreate the magic in your kitchen.
