What do you imagine when you think of a trip to Goa? Beautiful, sunny beaches great company and amazing food. And that is exactly what the entire Kapoor family was up to on their little Goa excursion. Sisters Sonam and Rhea Kapoor along with their husbands Anand Ahuja and Karan Boolani are vacationing in Goa along with Sonam’s kid and Rhea’s dog. And what is a fun family vacation without authentic Goan food? So, let us see what the family enjoyed eating.

Rhea took to Instagram to share a carousel of pictures of the entire family enjoying their stay in Goa and the highlight of that was the delicious food pictures that were a big part of her post. Of course, a big part of that meal was seafood because what are you even doing in Goa if you are not enjoying authentic seafood the state that you cannot enjoy anywhere else. So, starting with seafood, the plate that Rhea posted a picture of had jhinga curry or prawn curry on top of a bed of rice. It looked absolutely delicious, and we sure got a little carried away and might or might not have ordered ourselves some prawns!

The next thing on a platter was authentic Goan fish curry, with a red gravy that looked very appetising. The curry looked thick and luscious with the whole pot full of it kept right beside the thali. It looks like the entire family had a whole lot of food to finish on that table! and if you think there are only non-vegetarian, sea-food items on the table, a good portion of bhindi or okra fry was there to finish up the meal too! Overall, it was a well-balanced good and heart lunch, perfect for family vacations.

In another slide, Rhea also posted a picture of fish being grilled over a live tandoor! So, when we told you that the family enjoyed their seafood, both us and the Kapoors meant it! After all, you do not just visit Goa and not try every variety of fish dish available! Also, when a good cook like Rhea accompanies the vacationing party, there would be no abundance of good food! Rhea and Sonam have both previously shared on their social media about the former’s love for cooking.

So, if you are planning to visit Goa this festive season or want to vacation there for the new year's week, take a leaf (or fish) out of Rhea and Sonam’s book and try all kinds of seafood there. You will have the trips and the food of a lifetime!
