Pomegranate Chutney

This anardana chutney is tangy in taste and an easy recipe that goes well with any North Indian delicacy.

Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds
  • Black salt, as required
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 5-7 drops of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 cup coriander leaves

How To Make Pomegranate Chutney?

  1. Wash and clean, use pomegranate seeds under the running water and keep them aside.
  2. Now chop the ginger, mint leaves, and green chillies.
  3. Take a blender jar to add all the ingredients such as coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, pomegranate seeds, cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, and lemon.
  4.  some water to it and blend all the ingredients and make a smooth paste.
  5. Make sure the consistency of the mixture is smooth.

Your pomegranate chutney is ready; serve this with paratha, samosa, or khichdi.

Dates Chutney

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams black dates
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp jaggery
  • 2 tsp tamarind paste / lemon juice
  • Salt & water as required

How To Make Dates Chutney?

  1. To begin with, take a saucepan and water. Add dates to the pan and cook them until they turn soft. Drain out the water after the dates are cooked to soft and smooth. Let them cool at room temperature.
  2. Take a blender jar, add cooked dates with red chilli, cumin powder, tamarind paste, jaggery, salt, and water as required.
  3. Adjust the consistency as required.

Your date chutney is ready, serve with spring rolls, snacks, or kebabs.
