The case with me is that no matter how full I might be, I can never say no to a bowl of butter chicken. I don’t even need a naan or rice; I can have it as is. So, if one day you need to make me happy, you know what to get. I mean, picture a bowl with juicy chunks of grilled chicken in hot tandoor marinated in a pool of spices, and bathed in a rich and creamy tomato gravy; aren’t you salivating already? No wonder almost every north Indian or multi-cuisine restaurant around the country, and even abroad, has butter chicken on the menu. And so the love for it has transcended across the globe, resulting in multiple unique and often bizarre fusion delicacies. Be it butter chicken tikka, butter chicken burger, butter chicken noodles, biryani and so much more. Now this culmination of Italian and Indian cuisine may raise a few eyebrows but trust me, this is only going to bring the best of both worlds on one plate. The robust, spicy and aromatic flavours of butter chicken with the deliciousness of the creamy pasta sound like a match made in heaven to me. Add to it the subtle tang of Indian flavours. How To Make Butter Chicken Pasta
Now a dish that requires butter chicken will require a certain amount of time, and this pasta is no different. So if you are making this fusion dish for an occasion or party at home, better to prep a bit in advance. It could be to perhaps make either the chicken or the pasta beforehand. So in this, we make everything fresh right from the spaghetti pasat to the butter chicken. Better to have the chicken marinated for about 3-4 hours. Next, heat oil in a large skillet and cook the marinated chicken with the spices, tomatoes and oodles of cream. Meanwhile, soak the spaghetti noodles in hot water till they come apart, drain and keep aside.
When the butter chicken is ready, spoon the butter chicken sauce on the noodles and garnish with cilantro to serve hot. Alternatively, you can also toss the noodles into the sauce and cook on high heat for a few minutes to evenly coat the noodles with the sauce.
