Stuffed Dates

While stuffed capsicum, eggs, and spotatoes are heard of, stuffed dates can be a new addition to the Sehri spread. It is a quick recipe for which you prepare dates and pit their surface enough to stuff them with cheese and chopped nuts. Sprinkle salt to taste and a pinch of cinnamon powder for a burst of flavour. This dish is healthy and would be loved by kids as well.

Date Pancakes

If you are tired of eating traditional dishes for Suhoor, making date pancakes is a good idea to add a little twist to American cuisine. Prepare the pancake batter like you would do on any other day, and add chopped dates to the mix. Cook pancakes on both sides until they have a golden brown surface, and serve them topped with fresh fruits, a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, and a handful of chopped dates.

Date Parfait

Parfait is a dish with which you can experiment a lot. From fruits to crackers, you can pick elements of your choice and make a bowl full of deliciousness. For this dish, layer the Greek yoghurt with chopped dates, roughly chopped fruits, and granola bars. Add a drizzle of honey on the top along with some chopped dry fruits, and enjoy this heart dish for Sehri.

Date Milkshake

Dates can be an excellent addition to the milkshake, especially if you find it hard to mix them with any other ingredient. In a blender, add chopped dates, fruits of your choice, and fruits along with milk of your choice. Add a scoop of ice cream of your choice and some ice before turning on the blender. A hydrating and nutritious glass of this milkshake will keep your body energetic throughout the day.

Overnight Soaked Oats With Dates

It wouldn’t be the worst idea if you could do a little preparation for Sehri the night before. It will allow you to sleep more in the morning and ease your tasks in the kitchen. Take a jar and combine oats in it along with chopped dates, yoghurt, chopped nuts, and some milk. Refrigerate the content overnight and consume a hydrating and hearty bowl in the morning before prayers.

Date Smoothie

If you can make milkshakes, you can also make smoothies the next day for Sehri. It is a quick dish that requires minimal effort while ensuring that you add a nutritious spread to the meal. To accompany a savoury dish for Suhoor, make a glass of date smoothie by blending yoghurt with a handful of nuts and chopped dates. Walnuts and almonds are perfect for this. Serve the smoothie with a pinch of cinnamon powder and raisins on the top.

Banana Bread With Dates

There is nothing better than to savour banana bread for Suhoor. Add chopped dates to your banana bread and mix the batter. After baking the bread, serve the moist and soft loaf along with savouries and desserts on the table. You can also add a handful of raisins or chopped nuts to the batter to make the bread more nutritious and fulfilling.
