This Sunday (July 21, 2024), the actor took to her Instagram story to share an image of a freshly baked pepperoni pizza. She captioned it, “Yummy pizza! The best homemade pizza.” While you might rejoice that the actor baked it herself, there is a twist.
Rakul Preet Singh tagged Bruce Campbell, chef and owner of The Wood Fire Pizza, Mumbai, to give him a shoutout for making such a delightful Sunday treat for her. The crust looked crispy and baked to perfection. It was loaded with cheese and basil leaves. What appeared to be more attractive was the topping of pepperoni.

Chef Bruce Campbell runs The Wood Fire Pizza from Bandra, Mumbai. The hand-tossed pizzas have been impressing people from the Bay. To order the cheesy delight, the instructions on the official Instagram handle include placing the order via direct message on the platform.
The menu features classic options for non-vegetarians, like barbecue pizza, butter chicken pizza, chicken pepperoni pizza, and Hawaiian pizza. You can get your favourite flavour prepared using either sourdough base or whole wheat base. The one that was featured on Rakul Preet Singh’s Instagram page looked like a chicken pepperoni priced at Rs 495.
For vegetarians, the options include farmers' market pizza, Margherita pizza, veg Hawaiian pizza, and Banner’s pizza. All of their pizzas are 10 inches wide. If you want to customise your meal, you can add extra onion, mushroom, corn, capsicum, chicken, cheese, chicken ham, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, jalapeno, and pineapple.
The store takes orders between 4pm-9pm on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), but they request that the order should be placed before 10am on Saturday. The prices mentioned on the menu are exclusive of delivery charges and payment mode is either cash or UPI. If you like the base of the pizza to be sourdough, make sure to place the order on Friday for a party on Saturday or Sunday.
