Fresh fruit in the summer is one of life’s simple pleasures—juicy, sweet (or tart depending on the fruit), and perfect for snacking. 


Watermelon, which is approximately 92% water, contains various minerals, including potassium and lycopene. These help improve heart health and regulate blood pressure. Mango, the king of fruits, is an absolute favourite with everyone during summers and is available at every stall.  Vitamins A, C, D, iron, potassium and calcium are found in abundance in mangoes. 


Summer fruits also include muskmelon (kharbooja), orange, papaya, pineapple, guava, litchi, plum, grape and star fruit.
