This year, Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrated Diwali in London where she is busy shooting for the second season of Citadel, an Amazon Prime thriller series with stories from all over the world. Taking to her Instagram, Desi Girl shares picture-perfect glamorous images with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

For those who love the spooky vibes of Halloween and the glitz and glam of Diwali, it was a hard choice between the two festivals. Whether to go trick-or-treating or light up diyas all around the house and burst firecrackers is no less of a conundrum. This was due to the celebration of Diwali and Halloween on October 31, 2024. However, Priyanka Chopra combined the two celebrations and called it Diwaloween.

Priyanka Chopra’s Diwaloweeen Party In London Is All About Chaat

Who do you call a Desi at heart? Someone who, while staying abroad, is always rooted in their culture and food scenes. Well, Priyanka Chopra is one such personality who receives praise for being true to her Indian-ness.

The actor hosted a Diwaloween party for which she dressed in red and looked ethereal. The carousel of images she posted on Instagram was captioned, “Just a perfect Diwaloween.” Her hair and makeup were perfect, Nick and Malti were by her side, and the family looked adorable. However, amidst this, what caught the eyes of a foodie was a chaat corner.

Can you imagine Diwaloween celebration without food? The two festivals are all about gatherings of family and loved ones who bond and fight over delicacies. For her Citadel family, Priyanka Chopra organised a counter serving Indian street food.

It was not an ordinary chaat counter but the one where you could get spicy potato-filled samosas topped with boiled chickpeas, curd, green chutney, tamarind chutney, pomegranate seeds, sev, and coriander leaves. The makeshift chaat counter had three people working swiftly to prepare lip-smacking samosa chaat for the crew members.

Another image that caught the eyes of a gastronome was of a table setting at Priyanka’s home. It was filled with light and warmth. The pink pastel theme of the table was complemented by green centrepieces and candles lighting up the space. One can expect that the Diwaloween dinner at Priyanka’s house was as spectacular as the table setting.
