Representing her country as well as her unabashed love for Indian food, actress-entrepreneur Preity Zinta takes her passion for all things desi even across the seven seas. In a recent video montage shared by the actress, she gave everyone a glimpse of her appearance at San Jose’s Taste of India event in California. Touted to be the largest Indian food festival across North America, the annual event saw the actress in attendance as one of the chief guests this year. Interacting with participants, judges as well as fans, she made sure to sample some delicious food while being dressed in bright pink Indian attire.

Glimpses of her binge from the video she shared on social media included classics like mini samosas sitting on a bed of chhole, buttermilk flavoured with fresh coriander, a dry fruit loaded rabdi and street-style roasted corn spiced with red chilli powder. Preity also shared a selfie in the montage where she was seen holding a plate that contained a perfectly browned dosa served alongside two different types of chutneys. Between posing with fans as well as enjoying cultural programmes at the event, the actress was seen smiling from ear to ear while relishing the dishes on offer.
