Use Dishwashing Liquid
Instead of using dishwashing soap, use a liquid solution to rinse the cookware. However, don’t use cold or tap water, it will only harden the grease. After mixing the dishwashing liquid with hot water, pour it on the cookware. Use a scrubber to work up lather which will absorb the grease by breaking it down and help you get rid of it without causing pain in your biceps.
Rub With Salt
Often when you deep-fry or shallow-fry in ghee, small food particles always end up burnt. It is even more difficult to get rid of them without scratching the surface of the cookware. For such stubborn particles, sprinkle salt on the affected areas, dip the sponge in water, and start rubbing the surface. The friction with salt granules can help you get rid of the burnt particles in a jiffy. At the end, rinse the cookware with hot water and dishwashing liquid solution.
Clean With Lemon Juice
The citric in lemon juice can help to break down the grease left behind by the use of ghee. Cut a lemon in half, remove the seeds, and start scrubbing it on the insides of the utensils so that grease can come off. Rinse the utensil with hot water and again with liquid dishwashing solution. Not only will your cookware get its shine back but also smells fresh because of the lemon.

Pour Hot Water

You can pour dishwashing liquid into the same pan and scrub it with a sponge.
Clean With Baking Soda And Vinegar
When it comes to cleaning stubborn stains, stuck food particles, and burnt marks on cookware, baking soda and vinegar act like catalysts and make cleaning a fun task. Sprinkle baking soda on your cookware, and pour vinegar on it. You will witness the mixture will fizz which will instantly break down the components of ghee and loosen burnt food particles. You can use the sponge to scrub the utensils gently. Use a solution of liquid dishwashing to remove the residue and add fresh odour to the cookware.
Use Vinegar And Lemon Juice
Boil water, and add vinegar and lemon juice to it. This is a good solution to separate oil from the edges and surfaces of the cookware. You can either soak the utensils in this solution or add dishwashing liquid to the same and clean the surface using a sponge. If you cannot get rid of the stains or greasy surfaces, repeat the process or do a salt scrub and clean with vinegar, lemon juice, and dishwashing liquid solution.
Use Water And Cornstarch
If you have not tried cleaning cookware using cornstarch, you should give this method a try. Not only is it effective but also helps you get rid of any foul small food particles.
