The Prime Minister is following a special diet based on the principles of Yam Niyam, which excludes certain items like onion and garlic. As PM Modi follows this regimen, he adheres to strict practices, including sleeping on the floor and consuming solely coconut water. This ritual, rooted in the principles of purifying the body and soul, aims to prepare the Prime Minister for his sacred duties.
In a 10-minute audio address broadcast on X last Friday, Prime Minister Modi announced the whole ritual, he said “Only 11 days are left for the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. I am fortunate that I will also be a witness to this auspicious occasion. The Lord has made me an instrument to represent all the people of India during the consecration. Keeping this in mind, I am starting a special ritual of 11 days from today. I am seeking blessings from all the people. At this moment, it is very difficult to express my feelings in words, but I have tried from my side”.
