Nushrratt Bharucha, who stars in the upcoming thriller Akelli, was seen taking a breather with co-star Tsahi Halevi, while gorging on hot vada pavs. Smeared with the spicy green chutney and sweet red chutney, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress took a big bite for the lens, while Halevi nodded in agreement about how good the popular street food was. She also interacted with the paparazzi in Marathi, along with having fun with some children who approached her.

Nushrratt seemed to lose all resistance once she was handed Mumbai’s staple, as she took a big bite of her vada pav and almost burnt her mouth, in the process. However, she nodded in appreciation while the photographers asked her to go easy, while also being a sport and biting into a fried green chilli – the classic accompaniment to the vada pav. Nushrratt also agreed with a photographer when she was asked if the hot vada pav was spicy, as her co-star also took a bite of the spicy chilli.

She was fondly referred to as ‘Mumbaichi mulgi’ by the waiting photographers, as she seemed to be enjoying her snack to the fullest. Known to be a pretty healthy eater on most days, Nushrratt’s meals include plenty of quinoa, seasonal fruits, protein pancakes and multivitamin supplements. Her lunches and dinners also include steamed fish, low-fat feta cheese and sugar-free cakes, to combat sweet cravings. She is also particular about her love for white coffee and eating home-cooked meals, while also firmly believing in treating oneself occasionally. No wonder, it was refreshing to see the petite actress give-in to a bit of indulgence with the deep-fried savoury snack!
