The video starts with Nia Sharma chopping some rinsed and peeled potatoes. She also chops a few green chillies and sets them aside. Next, she sautees the most important ingredients for sabudana khichdi – peanuts and curry leaves. Once the peanuts are golden brown, the actress adds chopped potatoes and green chillies and cooks till the potatoes are soft. Finally, she adds in soaked sabudana and stirs the mixture.

Once thoroughly cooked, Nia Sharma shapes the mixture into patties and half-fried them to make sabudana tikki. Giving a sneak peek whilst saying, “That’s how my tikkis look,” the Television celebrity takes some of the mixture to prepare the khichdi. Next, she adds lemon to the khichdi revealing, “I like everything so khatta.” After garnishing the sabudana khichdi with coriander leaves, Nia Sharma asks the viewers to serve it hot.

Parallelly, she takes her sabudana tikkis to the next level by making a chaat. Layering the crispy tikki she fried, Nia Sharma adds curd on top of them and seasons the plate with spices, imli chutney, and spicy hari chutney. After garnishing with pomegranate seeds, she gives a little peek to the viewers to reveal the final look.
