Fitness enthusiasts know that social media, particularly celebrity Instagram handles, is probably one of the best places to look for healthy recipes, fitness tips and what not. Bollywood divas often take to their official pages to post about their diet tips, what they eat and fitness plans. Veteran actor Neena Gupta’s page is among those that are often visited. She perfectly embodies the saying - ‘age is just a number’. Her phenomenal acting skills, fashion sense and lifestyle habits never fail to make us shower all the ‘heart eye’ emojis. The actor has had people hooked to her beauty and lifestyle for decades now. She often takes to her Instagram handle to show us glimpses of her lifestyle and diet.

Her Instagram posts are proof that she doesn’t only love eating but cooking too. She recently took to her handle to share about some lip-smacking healthy tikkis for people who are afraid of savouring desi delights due to their diets. Take a look:

Neena first takes some fresh beans, peas, a potato, capsicum, some steamed daliya and some carrots. She steams all the above veggies except the capsicum, and then mashes them all along with paneer, coriander leaves, green chillies and salt. Later, she makes some tikkis, dips them in egg whites and coats them in bread crumbs and shallow-fries them in a pan. The actor fries them on low flame till they are cooked and crispy. But this isn’t all. She is also seen preparing a yoghurt dip with hung curd, thyme, cucumber, chopped garlic and salt. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Well, we know. She also gives some tips on how to make a burger with the tikkis and the dip.
