From Gujarat to Assam, Uttar Pradesh to Karnataka, the celebrations of Shardiya Navratri have been in full swing since October 3, 2024, and will culminate on October 12, 2024, with Maha Navami and Dussehra. Durga Ashtami or Maha Ashtami (being celebrated on October 11, 2024) is the eighth day of Navratri which also holds an important significance for Hindus as many break their fast and worship Goddess Durga and her every form.
