One of the most tempting content on social media is the photos that celebrities post of their food and drinks. From sumptuous brownies to delectable Thai food, Instagram stories of stars could tempt anyone in to breaking their diets. Many times these dishes are prepared by a celebrity chef who is known to feed B-town people. This certainly was the case with Mrunal Thakur recently, when she shared a photo of her lunch tagging Chef Akshay Arora who is known to cook for celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet and more.
Mrunal’s lunch had chunks of chicken and mushroom in brown sauce, packed within a banana leaf. The actress had tagged Chef Akshay while posting a photo of her lunch to her Instagram story. A high protein meal is a popular food choice that stars make as they steer clear of consuming too many carbs. Mrunal’s lunch was extremely healthy given that chicken is a great source of protein and mushrooms are a rich, low calorie source of fiber, protein, and antioxidants. The fact that the dish was packed in a banana leaf, is indicative of it being a dish of an Asian cuisine, most probably from the Thai cuisine.
Mrunal was last seen in the film Jersey, starring opposite actor Shahid Kapoor. Reportedly, Mrunal has spoken to the media about her love for grilled vegetables, fish, eggs, brown bread and fruits. The actress avoids junk food and carbs as much as she can, except on her cheat days. Mrunal is also in the habit of healthy snacking, much like her co-workers and she carries nuts, oat cookies, pumpkin seeds and sprouts to munch on, between her meals. The actress doesn’t forget to hydrate everyday and always finds time to drink eight glasses of water everyday.
