Amla Chutney

People make amla ka murabba or even pickle but only a few know that the ingredient is perfect for making sweet and salty chutney out of it. Blend Indian gooseberry with green chillies, coriander, salt, jaggery, and ginger. This unique combination is perfect to pair with fried snacks or topping street food items to infuse them with flavours.

Green Garlic Chutney

The winter season acquaints you with a unique seasonal produce which is green garlic. It is rich in vitamin C, vitamin B6, and manganese. A bowl of green garlic chutney adds nutrition to the snack spread and makes munching more fun. It is prepared by grinding the star ingredient with green chillies, coriander leaves, and lemon juice. Try pairing it with thepla or pakora.

Mooli Chutney

Though you might get radish throughout the year, its nutritious and juice version is only available in winter. Therefore, people often make pickles and parathas with it. But have you tried making mooli chutney? It is a combination of radish, tamarind, garlic, green chillies, salt, and roasted cumin powder. The texture of the condiment remains coarse, and it is tempered with mustard seeds and red chillies. Enjoy it with rice or parathas.

Beetroot Chutney

To load your body with fibre, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins, you must add beetroots to your daily meals. One of the ways to enjoy it is by making chilla, tikki, or prathas with it. Another unique way is to turn it into a bowl of lip-smacking chutney. Cook beetroot with dry red chillies, tamarind, garlic, and sesame seeds. Let the ingredients cool off and blend them together. It compliments rice and parathas.

Til And Jaggery Chutney

One of the most warming and unique combinations of seasonal produce is sesame seeds and jaggery. It is used to add a crunch and flavour to many Indian sweets dishes. Did you know you can also combine to prepare a batch of chutney? Roast sesame seeds and grind them with jaggery, red chillies, and tamarind. This sweet, fiery, and salted chutney tastes heavenly with makke ki roti, bajra roti, and amranth roti.

Methi Chutney

Methi or fenugreek has a bitter note. Therefore, they are often combined with other ingredients to balance the bitterness. To make methi chutney, blanch it in water and blend it into a smooth paste with green chillies, garlic, and tamarind. Try it with bajra roti or rice for a wholesome meal.
