Moolchand Parantha has been famous in Delhi with its food base near the Moolchand flyover for four decades. Ram Lal Khattar and his brother Subhash Khattar, who has been feeding Delhiites with their parathas for the last 42 years, have three shops in Delhi today. In 1975, Ram Lal Khattar started selling parathas and then around six years ago, he opened a big shop under Moolchand metro station. Earlier, they used to open their till midnight, but now they only from 9 am to 11 pm. So how to reach Moolchand Parantha Corner? As soon as you exit from the Moolchand metro station, you will be easily attracted by the aroma of parathas. The paranthas price ranges from Rs 40 to Rs 130.

Types of parathas at Moolchand

The vast range of paranthas includes aloo, mixed vegetable parantha, soya and pyaaz aloo parantha. In addition, they also serve some non-vegetarian parathas like the egg-chicken parantha, keema paratha, egg and chicken parantha. So what do they serve with parathas?  Here, you are given onion, green chutney and a lot of butter on the paratha. Not only this, a particular chilli pickle is served with it, which is not bought from anywhere, but it is made at home.
