With its chilly breeze and soothing raindrops, the monsoon brings us a lot of happiness. Apart from providing relief from the extreme heat, this season also adds greenery to nature. Sipping a cup of tea with some crispy pakoras on a rainy day is the favourite thing to do for most Indians. But did you think tea was the only beverage that could be enjoyed during the monsoon? Not really. Cocktails are also popular this season.
Made with various ingredients such as spirits, liqueurs, mixers, and garnishes, these alcoholic concoctions are perfect for every occasion. Talking particularly about monsoon cocktails, they use a variety of seasonal fruits and herbs that offer a refreshing and cooling experience in the humid weather of this season. These drinks are also perfect for uplifting the spirits on a gloomy, rainy day. Some popular monsoon cocktails are sangria, mango daiquiri, plum cider, lychee martini, and gin punch.
