As per her story, after calling for a sick day, she relaxed at home with a plate of freshly made pohe, a hot cup of chaha, and an aesthetic sipper filled with paani (water) while playing WWII in the background. Pohe is one of the most popular South Indian breakfast options, and it is now made in almost all parts of the country and across borders.

Besides, this isn’t the first time Mithila Palkar has shared her love for pohe on her Instagram handle. The actor even started 2024 by posting a picture of herself smiling ear to ear with a plate filled with pohe and captioned, “Only best way to start your day, your week, your month, your year - eat पोहे! Okay, bye! Happy New Year!”

Her simplicity and love for authentic and regional delicacies is what makes her fans connect with her on a deeper level. Furthermore, pairing the Maharashtra-special masala chaha, which is the family cure to all ailments, with her breakfast caught the attention of her Instagram followers. And not to forget the most important thing to get better when sick, staying hydrated, which is always easier to do with a cute sipper, as in Mithila Palkar’s Instagram story.
