Fusion food has taken over the food scene all over India. It seems to be the latest trend online. From Iced Gol Gappa and Butter Chicken Tacos to something as bizarre as Dhokla Ice Cream, there have been many such innovations made by street food vendors as well as restaurants. These bizarre dishes are bound to take us by surprise with their unique twist. In the latest such bizarre food twist, one of our most beloved delicacies has been added to the list and we are left aghast. An experiment with the delicious Tibetan momos has left internet users aghast. Can you guess what the experiment could be? 

A Twitter user shared a video of a bizarre 'Mithai Momo'. Yes, you read that right. The dish was a fusion between the delicious dumplings and desi Indian mithai wherein a host of Indian sweets were used in the making of this eccentric dish. Take a look at the full video here:

The video shared on Twitter by Mukesh V Makhija, was originally shared by an Instagram blogger called Freakin Foodies on the platform. It has already received over 58k views with hundreds of comments and likes. The video reveals the whole recipe of mithai momo and we can’t believe our eyes. First, a flat sheet was rolled out of the momo dough. A number of Indian sweets were then added to the mithai momo. Starting with two pieces of Gulab Jamun, two motichoor laddoos, two pieces of Kalakand to a bowl full of Gajar ka Halwa. Yes, the momo had it all. The mithai momo was then wrapped up, steamed and served with chocolate sauce. Can you imagine the taste? 

The bizarre video went viral in no time and Twitter users were quick to react. While some people compared it with the popular Indian sweets, Modak and Gujiya, which too have sweet fillings inside them. Others simply wanted the video to disappear or un-see this video. Some of the reactions questioned why such a dish was created in the first place while a few also wrote that the preparation seemed to be too sweet and jokingly wrote that it could even give someone Diabetes.
